2. The Second International Congress of Eurasian Maritime History (Maritime History of Russian) was held in St. Petersburg between 23-25 July 2014. The congress was jointly organized by IAMS and the Historical and Cultural Center Lichnost Peterburga, in collaboration with Pîrî Reis University and Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping.
In the Congress 110 papers were presented by more than 100 academicians and researchers from 16 countries.

3. The proceedings of the 1st International Congress of Eurasian Maritime History (Istanbul, 5-7 November 2012) have been published. The volume is titled Seapower, Technology and Trade – Studies in Turkish Maritime History, and brings together 57 articles.
